Responsibilities
- Design and animate high-quality 2D characters and backgrounds for web, mobile, and film applications.
- Create detailed storyboards and animatics to visualize project concepts before production.
- Collaborate closely with 3D artists, sound engineers, and writers to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Optimize animation assets for various platforms while maintaining high visual fidelity.
- Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback on creative processes.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in 2D animation and motion graphics.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a 2D Animator or Motion Designer.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, and squash & stretch.
- A professional portfolio demonstrating a range of styles and projects.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to take creative direction effectively.
- Experience with production pipelines and version control systems.
