Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing a comprehensive nursing care plan.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians in accordance with hospital and legal standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Document patient history, symptoms, reactions, and treatments in electronic medical records accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness, and home healthcare management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Hawaii.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- English proficiency (written and verbal) required for effective communication.
- Eligibility for US Visa sponsorship (H1B, Green Card, or other work authorization).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
