Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care by assessing patient needs, administering medications, and monitoring patient progress.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and social workers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Continuously observe and record patient conditions, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Document Care: Accurately and timely document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code blue situations following established protocols.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of California.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Visa Eligibility: Must be eligible for H1B Visa sponsorship or currently hold a valid work visa.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required. PALS certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
