Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with nursing standards and physician orders.
- Administer medications and treatments safely, monitoring for adverse reactions and documenting outcomes.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and critical changes in patient conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, charts, and patient reports.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital policies.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the United States (or eligibility for licensure through our sponsorship program).
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Foreign nursing graduates must provide valid credential evaluation and proof of English proficiency.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
