Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assessing patient conditions.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist with procedures and treatments as directed by the healthcare team.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Current, active RN or LPN license in the State of Louisiana (or eligible for reciprocity).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- English language proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Eligibility to work in the United States (US Citizen or Visa Sponsorship eligible).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift heavy objects when necessary.
