Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, monitoring patient responses for adverse effects.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document patient care activities, vital signs, and progress notes in electronic health records (EHR) accurately and timely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control policies.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred, Associate degree accepted with relevant experience).
- Demonstrated experience in clinical nursing practice (minimum 1-2 years preferred).
- Commitment to obtaining and maintaining BLS, ACLS, and other required certifications.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse team environment.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and willingness to undergo visa sponsorship if required.
