Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-quality patient care in accordance with facility protocols and state nursing regulations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education programs.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California or valid compact state license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Demonstrated ability to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently (required for visa processing).
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
