Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Sourcing: Conduct proactive market research and identify passive candidates through LinkedIn, Boolean searches, and networking events.
- Screening & Interviewing: Execute comprehensive phone screens and technical interviews to assess candidate skills, cultural fit, and salary expectations.
- Direct Hire Placement: Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for key technical positions, ensuring a seamless experience for both clients and candidates.
- Client Collaboration: Partner closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and build long-term talent pipelines.
- Market Intelligence: Provide market insights and salary benchmarking data to support our client's hiring strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting (Software Engineering, DevOps, or Data Science preferred).
- Direct Hire Focus: Proven track record of successfully placing permanent, direct-hire candidates.
- Tools: Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse, Lever, or Workday.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Networking: Strong network within the Chicago tech community and a proactive approach to headhunting.
