Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned units (Med/Surg, ICU, ER)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient assessments and care plans in Epic EHR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations
- Supervise LVNs and CNAs during shifts
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- BSN preferred (ADN considered with experience)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Valid U.S. work authorization or sponsorship eligibility
- Excellent communication skills in English/Spanish
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
