Responsibilities
- Perform manual and mechanized crop cultivation tasks including planting, pruning, and harvesting
- Operate agricultural machinery (tractors, harvesters) with proper safety protocols
- Monitor crop health and apply integrated pest management techniques
- Adhere to FDA safety standards during post-harvest handling
- Maintain farm equipment and irrigation systems
- Document daily activities using digital farm management systems
- Collaborate with supervisors to optimize planting schedules
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 2 years commercial farming experience
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Valid driver's license (tractor operation preferred)
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Commitment to 20-30 hours weekly schedule
- Certification in pesticide application (preferred)
