Responsibilities
- Harvest and pack high-value crops (lettuce, peppers, tomatoes)
- Operate irrigation systems and perform field maintenance
- Adhere to strict food safety and quality control standards
- Maintain accurate production records daily
- Collaborate with farm supervisors for planting schedules
- Assist with equipment maintenance and cleaning
- Participate in seasonal crop rotation activities
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa status (must be current)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Reliable transportation to farm location
- Previous farm experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts (6 days/week during peak season)
- Pass pre-employment physical examination
