Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for 3-5 simultaneous events including vendor management and timeline execution
- Conduct on-site event supervision ensuring flawless execution of all elements
- Develop detailed event budgets and maintain financial accountability
- Collaborate with clients to conceptualize and customize event experiences
- Manage event staff including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Coordinate with venue partners to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Create post-event reports with client feedback and performance metrics
Qualifications
- 2+ years event coordination experience with portfolio of 10+ successful events
- Proficiency in event management software (Eventbrite, Cvent)
- Exceptional communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with reliable transportation
- Strong problem-solving abilities for last-minute event adjustments
- Knowledge of New Orleans venues, vendors, and cultural protocols
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
