Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for 3-5 simultaneous events including vendor scheduling and timeline management
- Conduct venue walkthroughs and setup oversight across French Quarter and Garden District locations
- Manage client communications via CRM system and ensure 95% satisfaction rate
- Collaborate with local vendors including caterers, musicians, and decorators
- Handle on-site troubleshooting during events with calm professionalism
- Post-event reporting and budget reconciliation within 48 hours
Qualifications
- 2+ years event coordination or hospitality experience preferred
- Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Cvent)
- Exceptional time management with ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans venues and local service providers
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Availability to work evenings/weekends (avg. 4 weekend days/month)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
