Our Miami hub handles 10,000+ shipments daily across the Southeast. You'll oversee end-to-end operations, from warehouse management to vendor coordination, while implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 50+ employees across warehouse, distribution, and customer service teams
- Develop and implement process optimization strategies reducing costs by 15%+ annually
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with 3PL partners
- Analyze KPIs to drive data-driven decisions for operational excellence
- Lead cross-departmental projects including system integrations and facility expansions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and ISO 9001 standards
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years in operations management with P&L responsibility
- Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution environments
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and WMS platforms
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data sets
- Lean Six Sigma or PMP certification required
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams
- Multilingual abilities (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
