Responsibilities
- Lead and Mentor: Direct a team of logistics coordinators and warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current operational workflows and implement lean methodologies to reduce costs and improve turnaround times.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely fulfillment of orders.
- Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and key vendors to negotiate contracts and ensure quality standards.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards to maintain OSHA certification and a safe working environment.
- Reporting: Generate and present detailed operational reports to senior leadership to track KPIs and strategic goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in operations management, supply chain, or logistics.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading teams through periods of growth and change.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to San Diego, CA.
