Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage end-to-day logistics and warehousing functions to ensure seamless operations and minimal downtime.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and implement lean methodologies for cost reduction.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, coordinate supply chain activities, and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the departmental budget, forecasting expenses and controlling operational costs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or supply chain.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Location: Must be located in Nashville, TN.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Office skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data to stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and make strategic decisions under pressure.
