Responsibilities
- Direct Daily Operations: Oversee all day-to-day activities within the facility to ensure seamless workflow, safety, and efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of high performance and engagement.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current operational procedures and implement Lean/Six Sigma strategies to reduce waste and improve productivity.
- Budget & Financial Management: Manage departmental budgets, forecast costs, and implement cost-saving initiatives to maintain profitability.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA regulations, company policies, and safety protocols to minimize risk.
- Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure supply chain integrity.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or a similar role.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving results.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data to senior leadership.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex operational issues.
