Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the end-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring all workflows are efficient and compliant with company policies.
- Supply Chain Management: Coordinate with vendors and logistics partners to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of operations staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current processes and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Budget & Financial Oversight: Develop and manage operational budgets, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on financial performance to senior management.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and industry compliance standards to maintain a safe workplace.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar supervisory role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions under pressure.
