Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of logistics and supply chain activities to ensure seamless execution.
- Analyze operational performance metrics and implement data-driven strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of operations staff, conducting regular performance reviews and training sessions.
- Manage the departmental budget, forecast expenses, and ensure resource allocation aligns with company goals.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline workflows.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or a related role within a logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in budget management and financial forecasting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to stakeholders at all levels.
