Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring high efficiency and safety standards are met at all times.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current operational workflows and implement Lean Six Sigma principles to reduce waste and improve productivity.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff, fostering a positive and high-performance work culture.
- Budget Control: Develop and manage the departmental budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve logistical bottlenecks.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce company policies and local, state, and federal regulations regarding workplace safety and environmental compliance.
- Reporting: Generate and present detailed performance reports to senior management to drive data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and strong knowledge of logistics software.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing conflict effectively.
- Certification: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a strong plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to stakeholders clearly.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot operational issues under pressure.
