Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-day operations of logistics and supply chain functions to ensure seamless execution.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvement strategies (Lean/Six Sigma).
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of supervisors and staff, conducting performance reviews and fostering a positive culture.
- Develop and manage annual operational budgets, forecasting costs and ensuring profitability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Sales, Procurement, Finance) to align operations with business objectives.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations and company policies.
- Implement and utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to track inventory and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in operations management or logistics.
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to travel to various facility locations.
- PMP or Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
