Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct daily operations, ensuring workflows are efficient, safe, and compliant with company standards.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate staff to foster a high-performance culture.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and implement Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to optimize inventory and supply chain processes.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, monitor P&L statements, and control operational costs effectively.
- Vendor Relations: Negotiate contracts with third-party vendors and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to OSHA regulations and internal safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or logistics, preferably in a mid-to-large scale environment.
- Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading and motivating diverse teams to achieve operational goals.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions under pressure.
- License: Valid Texas Driver’s License is required.
