Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a diverse team of supervisors and operational staff.
- Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends and implement continuous process improvements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and third-party partners.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Create and manage annual operational budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
- Handle escalated customer issues and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably within logistics or distribution.
- Proven track record of leading teams in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime during peak seasons.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
