Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct and oversee daily operations at the Houston facility, ensuring seamless workflows and high productivity levels.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and implement lean manufacturing and operational strategies to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute operational plans and budgets, aligning them with the company's broader business objectives.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety protocols, are strictly followed.
- Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and service quality.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Leadership: Strong proven track record of leading teams and managing performance under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to stakeholders.
