The Role:
You will serve as the bridge between production, supply chain, and management, ensuring that our operations run smoothly, on time, and within budget. Your leadership will directly impact our bottom line and our reputation for quality in the manufacturing sector.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring production targets and quality standards are met efficiently.
- Manage and optimize supply chain logistics, including inventory control, vendor relations, and shipping processes.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that improve productivity, reduce waste, and cut costs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of supervisors and floor staff, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), scrap rates, and lead times to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with upper management to create annual budgets and forecast operational needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations or manufacturing management, preferably within the automotive or industrial sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving operational bottlenecks under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between facilities if required.
