Responsibilities
- Direct & Optimize Daily Operations: Oversee end-to-end logistics and supply chain processes to ensure seamless execution and minimal downtime.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a diverse operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Budget Management: Develop and monitor operational budgets, ensuring resource allocation is efficient and costs are controlled within parameters.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between operations and upper management, providing clear reports on KPIs and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or a similar role within the logistics or manufacturing sector.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex operational issues and implement effective solutions.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive high performance under pressure.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to stakeholders.
