What You'll Do:
As our Operations Manager, you will serve as the backbone of our organization, ensuring that our logistics and operational strategies align with our long-term vision.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the end-to-day functioning of our operations department, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and control operational budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness while maintaining high service standards.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operational activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety protocols.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to set operational goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to secure the best terms and quality of service.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or a similar leadership role.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading teams to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision making.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex data to stakeholders.
