Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations including warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics coordination
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to reduce costs by 15%+ annually
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ professionals across procurement, distribution, and customer service
- Analyze KPIs to identify optimization opportunities and data-driven solutions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and ISO 9001 standards
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for operational resources
- Drive continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Prepare executive reports on operational performance and strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive operations management experience
- Proven expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools
- Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent preferred
- Experience managing unionized workforce and labor relations
- Exceptional leadership abilities with track record of developing high-performing teams
- Deep knowledge of Florida logistics regulations and transportation networks
