Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize daily warehouse and logistics operations to ensure maximum efficiency and throughput.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational strategies, policies, and procedures to meet business goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of operations staff, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
- Manage budgets, forecast costs, and analyze financial data to drive cost-saving initiatives and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement solutions (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) to streamline workflows.
- Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards and labor laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or a similar role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams and improving operational KPIs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
