As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining our workflows, leading a high-performing team, and driving operational excellence to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations: Manage and optimize end-to-end logistics processes, ensuring timely delivery and high service quality.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies within supply chain operations and implement data-driven solutions to enhance productivity.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise a diverse team of logistics professionals to foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and control operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal departments, providing regular operational reports and updates.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and supply chain risks to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or logistics, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong analytical skills are essential.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams in a high-pressure environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to resolving operational bottlenecks.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, to meet business demands.
