Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily logistics and operational workflows to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate staff, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in current processes and implement Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to streamline operations.
- Cost Control: Manage the budget for operations, monitor expenses, and implement strategies to reduce waste and operational costs.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company policies, conducting regular safety audits.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal departments, providing regular operational reports and updates.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with supply chain partners, and optimize warehouse storage solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
- Leadership: Strong track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Problem Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Certifications: Six Sigma Green Belt or PMP certification is a plus.
