Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end operational workflows across warehousing, transportation, and distribution channels
- Develop and implement strategic process improvements to reduce costs by 15% annually
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of 15+ operational specialists
- Analyze KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven solutions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry-specific regulations
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to enhance service delivery
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for operational resources
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience in operations leadership within logistics/supply chain
- Proven track record of optimizing processes and reducing operational costs
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and WMS technologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and crisis management experience
- PMP or Six Sigma certification preferred
- Valid Maryland driver's license required
