Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct daily operations of the facility, ensuring that production targets, safety protocols, and quality standards are met efficiently.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement lean manufacturing strategies to maximize productivity and reduce waste.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse team of supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Budget & Resource Management: Oversee departmental budgets, manage inventory levels, and optimize resource allocation to minimize costs without compromising quality.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies, conducting regular audits and safety drills.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between operations, management, and external clients to ensure clear communication and timely delivery.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or a similar manufacturing role.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving performance improvements.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex operational issues.
