Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to enhance efficiency and reduce costs across logistics and distribution channels
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 15+ operational specialists through performance management and training initiatives
- Oversee daily operations including inventory management, warehouse coordination, and transportation scheduling
- Analyze KPIs and data to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous process optimization
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and client relations teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts with key logistics partners
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in operations management with 3+ years in logistics/supply chain
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and optimizing operational workflows
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and logistics management software
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Professional certification (CPIM, CSCP, PMP) highly desirable
- Experience scaling operations in high-growth environments
