Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ operations specialists through performance management and training
- Analyze KPIs and operational data to identify trends and drive data-driven decisions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety protocols, and company policies
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and customer service teams to align operational goals
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service level agreements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in operations management with 2+ years in leadership roles
- Proven experience in warehouse/distribution management and process optimization
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and knowledge of safety regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in a union or non-union environment
