Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including warehouse management and transportation coordination
- Develop and implement strategic process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 15+ operations specialists
- Analyze performance metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for optimal service levels
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in logistics or operations management
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and logistics software
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and project management expertise
- Valid Florida driver's license and willingness for occasional travel
