Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 50+ person facility including inventory management, logistics coordination, and quality control
- Develop and implement strategic process improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve KPIs in efficiency, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for supply chain optimization
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry-specific regulations
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with executive leadership on annual operational budgets and strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in operations management with 3+ years in team leadership
- Proven expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green/Black Belt certification a plus)
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and supply chain software
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication abilities with executive stakeholder management experience
- Knowledge of Memphis logistics ecosystem and transportation networks
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and clean driving record
