Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory control, order fulfillment, and cross-functional coordination
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Lead a team of 15+ logistics professionals through performance management and strategic planning
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for logistics services
- Analyze KPIs and data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with sales and customer service teams for seamless client delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years experience in warehouse or logistics operations management
- Proven track record of optimizing processes and reducing operational costs
- Strong expertise in WMS systems and logistics software (SAP, Oracle preferred)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and DOT compliance knowledge
- Exceptional leadership skills with team development experience
- Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision making
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
