Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the end-to-day logistics and operational workflows to ensure timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current processes and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and cut costs.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise a high-performing team of operations staff and logistics coordinators.
- Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and control the departmental budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between operations, management, and clients to report on KPIs and project status.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and supply chain fluctuations to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is required.
- Certifications: PMP, Six Sigma Green Belt, or CPIM certification is a strong plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and foster a positive work environment.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex operational issues under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
