Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of operations staff, conducting performance reviews and training.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met and report on progress.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational bottlenecks and improve workflow.
- Manage the budget for operations, forecasting needs and controlling expenditures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or logistics within a similar industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
