Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and quality control
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 15+ operations specialists
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service departments to align operational goals
- Analyze KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of operations management experience in logistics/warehousing
- Proven track record of optimizing processes and reducing operational costs
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP/WMS systems (SAP preferred)
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement training
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
