Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations including warehouse management, transportation coordination, and inventory control
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of 15+ operations specialists
- Analyze KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with sales and client relations teams to ensure service excellence
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for logistics services
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and industry regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics/supply chain operations with team leadership
- Proven track record of optimizing processes and reducing operational costs
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems and data visualization tools
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership
- Certifications in Six Sigma, APICS, or related fields highly valued
