Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across multiple departments including logistics, inventory, and quality control
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Manage a team of 10+ supervisors and staff through performance coaching and development
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to optimize supply chain performance
- Prepare monthly operational reports for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive operations management experience in manufacturing or logistics
- Proven track record of implementing Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams
- California-based operational experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
- Valid California driver's license may be required
