Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations including inventory management, warehouse coordination, and transportation scheduling
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve operational KPIs and service level agreements
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for optimal service/cost balance
- Analyze operational data to identify trends and implement data-driven solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align operations with company strategic goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive operations management experience in logistics/warehousing
- Proven track record of optimizing complex operational processes
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and logistics software
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial and operational metrics
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience managing diverse teams
- Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement methodology
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends for operational coverage
