Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
- Lead, mentor, and train a team of 15+ operational staff through performance coaching and development plans
- Analyze KPIs and data metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, safety protocols, and industry regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on supply chain optimization and vendor management
- Manage operational budgets and resource allocation for maximum efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in warehouse or distribution operations management
- Proven track record of implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP/WMS systems (SAP or Oracle experience a plus)
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety management credentials
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Proficient in data analysis tools and performance metrics interpretation
- Austin-based candidates with local logistics network knowledge preferred
