Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans aligned with company growth objectives
- Lead, mentor, and optimize performance of 15+ cross-functional team members
- Analyze operational KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven solutions
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry safety regulations
- Collaborate with supply chain, sales, and customer service teams to enhance workflows
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service agreements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field
- Minimum 5 years progressive operations management experience in logistics/distribution
- Proven expertise in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation and reporting
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process certification preferred
- Exceptional leadership abilities with demonstrated team development success
- Deep knowledge of OSHA safety protocols and regulatory compliance
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to make decisive, data-driven decisions
