Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across warehousing, transportation, and inventory management
- Develop and implement strategic process improvements using Lean methodologies
- Lead cross-functional teams to achieve KPIs including on-time delivery and cost reduction
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Analyze operational data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and industry regulations
- Prepare executive reports on operational performance and strategic recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience in operations leadership
- Proven track record implementing Lean Six Sigma or process improvement
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/JDE preferred)
- Excellent communication and team development abilities
- Experience managing P&L budgets of $5M+
- Supply chain or logistics industry expertise required
- CPIM or CSCP certification strongly preferred
