Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse/distribution center operations including inventory management, staffing, and safety compliance
- Develop and implement process optimization strategies to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
- Lead cross-functional teams through performance coaching, training, and conflict resolution
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics departments to ensure seamless supply chain coordination
- Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities and KPI tracking
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service agreements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years progressive operations management experience in logistics or distribution
- Proven track record of implementing lean methodologies and process improvements
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and DOT compliance knowledge
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing 15+ direct reports
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
