Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse/distribution operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 15+ operational staff through performance coaching
- Analyze KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous process enhancements
- Coordinate with sales, procurement, and transportation teams to ensure seamless operations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols
- Manage operational budgets and resource allocation across multiple departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or Business Administration
- 5+ years progressive experience in logistics/operations management
- Proven track record of optimizing complex distribution systems
- Strong proficiency in WMS/TMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Expertise in lean methodologies and process improvement frameworks
- Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated team development success
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven operational decisions
