Responsibilities
- Technical Assistance: Assist senior engineers and technicians in the daily maintenance, repair, and calibration of industrial machinery and equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Participate in daily safety briefings and adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Equipment Management: Help inventory, organize, and track technical tools and spare parts provided by the company.
- Process Optimization: Observe and document workflow processes to identify areas for efficiency improvement.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and technical reports in English.
- Cultural Integration: Engage in team-building activities and cultural exchange programs hosted by the employer.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to participate in the J1 Exchange Visitor Trainee Program (valid passport required).
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; or recent graduate (within 12 months).
- Language: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required.
- Technical Interest: Demonstrated interest in industrial equipment, machinery, or logistics operations.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and eagerness to learn.
